DERMA FILLER INJECTIONS

INTRODUCTION

There are a variety of dermal fillers available in the market. At CC Kat Aesthetics we use fillers made from hyaluronic acid (HA) because of its hypo-allergenic property. Hyaluronic acid exists naturally in the body and is an important component of the skin and serve important functions in creating volume in the tissue and maintaining water balance.

A range of HA fillers are available for the different treatment needs. For example, within the Restylane range, there are specific products for fine lines, deeper facial lines, the lips and general improvement of skin tone and firmness.

We pay special attention to pain control to ensure that the procedures are comfortable and non-traumatic. Topical and local anaesthetics are used when needed to keep discomfort to the minimum.

Typically, patients are reviewed two weeks after the treatment and the results are discussed.

Juvederm is one of our most popular HA fillers and recently, we have added Radiesse dermal filler to our treatment options. This is the treatment of choice if significant volume is required. Read about the effect of Radiesse on dark circles under the eyes.

The cost for this treatment ranges from £375 - £600 per syringe depending on the practitioner and the area treated.
