Meet Dr H Kat, Aesthetic Doctor, Clinical Director & unofficial in-house photographer at Kat & Co.
Dr Katmanages the overall operations and logistics of the practice ensuring all areasof the clinic run smoothly and effectively.
Anexperienced Aesthetics Doctor, he also provides expert care across a range oftreatments including laser treatments, weight management counselling andanti-wrinkle injections.
As if that isnt enough, Dr Kat is also our go-to photographer, capturing all those important moments and events with his sharp eye and attention to detail which, for those in the know, is evident through his super steady skills of manual focus.
Dr Kat explained how he got into photography. I had no formal training and much like most of the world today everyone is a photographer. I started with my first iPhone and soon realised the joy that cameras give allowing us to harness the superpower of freezing moments in time.
I particularly enjoy working with cameras that have a fast prime lens which forces you to zoom in or out with your feet. I like to do the focusing rather than let the camera do it for me.
Asyoull see from my photographs my subject preference is capturing people andfreezing that one moment that the world might miss. I particularly like thework of the legendary Annie Liebovitz and headshot artists like Peter Hurley andfind the way they capture people inspiring.
