We'd like to introduce you to Dr Dave Green, a Consultant anaesthetist and intensive care specialist who has worked alongside CC Kat for many years in the independent healthcare sector.
With over 20 years€™ experience, Dave has a particular interest in Twilight Anaesthesia (conscious sedation) and has introduced the service to a host of clinics and surgeries across the Midlands.
Dave has recently helped to set up our new (and very popular) Twilight Anaesthesia service at Kat & Co and is working closely with the team to successfully facilitate this service at our Calthorpe Road Clinic in Birmingham.
Twilight Anaesthesia (or conscious sedation) is a form of anaesthesia that can be controlled so that you are asleep, painfree and comfortable but still able to breath by yourself so there is no need for intubation as in General Anaesthetic.
Twilight Anaesthesia has fewer side effects compared to a general anaesthetic and allows Kat & Co to perform more surgeries at our clinic in Calthorpe Road as you do not need an overnight stay.
